DELICIOUS SKITTLES FUDGE
I L-O-V-E summer and it’s finally here! I enjoy being outdoors and feeling the sunshine on my face…it warms my soul. Especially after a NW winter. I also love summertime entertaining. Having friends and family gather outdoors for BBQs and picnics on warm evenings is just heavenly. It’s fun to create special recipes for these gatherings and since Skittles have been a favorite of mine since they came out in the 80’s, I enjoy making Skittles Fudge.
Creamy white chocolate with the fruit flavor of Skittles. Mmmm. The same Skittles sweetness is now in signature American colors, so this fudge is good all summer long, but especially perfect for our 4th of July block party.
Although the 4th is a few weeks away, this summer seems especially patriotic. Maybe it’s the Olympics or the election, but I’m seeing red, white and blue everywhere. From clothing and accessories to limited edition food, American colors are in! (I have my eye on a cute bag, but the scarves I’ve seen are pretty irresistible too!) It’s really cool to see Skittles is ready to make this American summer that much sweeter with their limited edition America color blend.
This Skittles fudge requires only 3 ingredients and takes about 10 minutes to make, so it’s an easy recipe that can be made anytime and the kids can help, too.

Ingredients
3 cups white chocolate
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup Skittles
Food coloring optional
Instructions
Combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in a medium saucepan.
Melt over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and completely melted.
Stir in Skittles.
